TESTIMONIAL by Bob Ellis May 25, 1993     ACUPUNCTURE SELF EVALUATION As a patient of acupuncture I believe that you must have faith.  You must have faith that the procedure is one that is proven to work.  You must have faith that the person performing the acupuncture is capable. THE PROCEDURE I came to Cynthia LaBruzzo without referral.  My first visit was extremely successful and it convinced me that acupuncture could and would work for me.  I have had 15 visits at this time and have had good and bad weeks.  The quality of my life has shown great improvement, and for that I am thankful.  When I started I had difficulty with my breathing and had large amounts of phlegm that I was coughing up most of the day. As of today, I have very little to no phlegm on a daily basis and my breathing has improved to a point that I no longer have to think about it.  In the past I would think before I would go down stairs at work.  I would accumulate things so I would go down a minimum number of times as I would have to rest and get my breath after I came back upstairs. THE PERSON I have a great deal of respect for Cynthia LaBruzzo, who has been treating me with acupuncture.  She is an extremely professional person who shows warmth, cares, concern and compassion during my visits.  I feel that she sometimes has more interest in my cure than I do.  She shows concern when I report that I have had a bad week. She has continued to show concern and compassion for my brother in law that she met during my first visit, and later learned that he recently been diagnosed with cancer. I have a great deal of faith in her ability to further improve my quality of life with the continuance of acupuncture treatments. THE PATIENT Very appreciative and thankful
